Since the beginning of last year Mrs. Heike Hundsdörfer is leading the school library with great commitment and enthusiasm. 31 new books were donated by the Ministry but over 400 book donations were received from the parents community and added to the library already, more will follow early in 2012. The existing english books were divided into 2 sections (Grade 3-4 and Grade 5-6) to make it easier for first-readers to find the right book. The same was done with english subject books and a section with subject books for Grade 3-4 was created. These books could not be utilised up to now as they were sorted amongst the books which are allowed only from Grade 4 onwards. The story reading time for 1st graders once a week is still very popular. During 2011 4141 books were borrowed from the library, this is nearly three times the amount of books compared to the previous year!
